Young Women In Science
There's a killer out in our oceans and seas and it's not an ominous marine creature. It is man-made. It's our trash, and a lot of the trash that ends up in the ocean is plastic. It floats on the surface and many marine animals mistake it for food. Eco Company found a group of young girls who are participating in a science program that takes them out on Monterey Bay looking for and cataloging the trash they find. Jessica got to go out on one of their missions.
